Help Children of Shree Surya Primary School get WASH facilities and Bridge for crossing flood river
Shree Surya Primary School in Nuwakot was damaged by Earthquake making it unsafe to conduct classes inside the school building. School is located in an isolated terrain led by female teachers. The majority of the children belong to indigenous Tamang community of Nepal in which trafficking rate is quite high due to low literacy rate and high poverty rate. The only way forward for them is by educating the younger ones and helping them build their future.
Nepal Rises is on the mission to provide six permanent classroom to students of Shree Surya Primary School. We have funds for building six classroom but we still need help to provide toilets, drinking water system and bridge.
During monsoon crossing the stream by the children becomes really dangerous since the continuous rainfall make the stream full of water and quite dangerous. Parents are worried and keep kids at home, resulting in more absenteeism. Help us in this cause to provide them a better school.
